The Mission Behind the Swing
Every tee time funds a young person’s next step.
Proceeds from the tournament and Day Party go directly to the youth academies and scholarship fund of the Alpha Educational & Leadership Foundation, Inc., a pipeline that follows a student from third-grade literacy all the way to a college award letter.
Hosted in joint partnership with the Gamma Mu Lambda Chapter.

Don’t play golf? The best part starts at noon.
The Day Party General Admission pass is designed for supporters, alumni, family, and community members who don’t play golf but want to support the foundation. Live DJ, outdoor dining, lawn games, and the awards celebration on the Hilaman Pavilion & Patio, 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Getting There
Hilaman Golf Course, 2737 Blair Stone Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32301. Registration and the driving range open at 7:30 AM.
Parking
Park in the main clubhouse lot and follow event signage to the check-in table. Arrive by 8:30 AM so carts can roll out on time.
Soft Spikes Policy
Soft spikes only on the course. Metal spikes are not permitted.
Dress Code
Standard golf attire is required on the course: collared shirt and golf slacks or shorts. Day Party guests are welcome in comfortable daytime social wear.

What is the tournament format?
A 4-person scramble with a 9:00 AM shotgun start. All four players tee off on each hole, the team selects the best shot, and every player then plays from that spot. Rules are reviewed at the 8:45 AM welcome address before the call to carts.
Are club rentals available at Hilaman?
Rental clubs are available through the Hilaman Golf Course pro shop. Contact us through the inquiry form below before event day and we will help you arrange a set at check-in.
What happens in bad weather?
The tournament plays in light rain. If play is suspended for lightning or unsafe conditions, golfers will be held at the clubhouse and the committee will announce a resumed or shortened format. The Day Party and Awards Celebration continue under the covered Hilaman Pavilion regardless. Registrations support the foundation and are treated as tax-deductible contributions if play cannot be completed.
How can I volunteer?
Volunteers help with golfer check-in, hole spotting, raffle sales, and the Day Party setup. Send us a note using the inquiry form below and select a message telling us where you would like to serve.
